Character design is my favorite part of being an illustrator and concept artist. I have always gravitated towards figures, characters, or even creatures, when it come to creating and enjoying art. Bringing characters to life is extremely fulfilling, and fun! Character design will usually consist of making turn-arounds and character sheets before finalizing the design and even placing them in an environment that further shapes the characters story (that is if you are working as an individual, rather than in a team.) I enjoy every step in the character design process, and sometimes I even end up valuing the turn-arounds and character sheets more than the final!
