About:
One of the most powerful things art can offer is a ‘familiar escape’. Using a blend of digital and traditional techniques, Farrah Thomas creates a variety of art ranging from realistic portraits to character and creature design. She enjoys creating fantastical little worlds and the characters within them. Farrah’s art explores and expresses moments of reverie, taking an alluring approach to concepts often derived from chasing her naive and imaginative inner adolescent. She finds inspiration in the city and in natural settings as well.
Farrah will be graduating from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD), with her BFA in December of 2022. She majors in illustration, and specializes in Concept Art. She is a member of the RMCAD Red Shoe Guild. In addition to having experience in freelance and commissioned work, she has collaborated with several small businesses in the Denver area.
